Economic Growth Strategy Regions

An effective strategy for informed economic development planning for multi-county areas of the state must start with keen insight into regions’ existing economic structure, the resources that they offer, and the differences that exist across them. The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development contracted with the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Tennessee to identify the economic regions in Tennessee and to provide a comprehensive profile of each region.
